An immunity card will be inevitable

The Ministry for Innovation and Technology has published the latest sectoral recommendation which provides detailed epidemiological guidance to higher education institutions for the start of the academic year. The most important message of the document is that if you do not have an immunity card, you exclude yourself from many things.

The pandemic has caused a lot of difficulties and is far from being over. In the citadels of science, such as universities, everyone should take it for granted, or rather everyone should know that researchers are doing everything they can to prevent and fight the spread of the disease.

At the moment the most important element of this is vaccination. That is why we draw the attention of all university students, lecturers, researchers and employees to its necessity.

All the more so because more and more provisions are being made that link the entry to institutions and participation in events to the existence of an immunity card. Those who do not get vaccinated endanger their own physical well-being and the physical integrity of others, and they also limit themselves.

It is important to emphasize that not only Hungarian citizens, but also foreign students can get vaccinated. Register here!

Of course, everyone can choose to protect themselves with a mask, which is not mandatory at the moment, but obviously it cannot be banned.

Hand sanitizer is placed at every entrance, canteen and other places on campus.

You are encouraged to make use of it.

Regular ventilation is important not only in classrooms but also in dormitory rooms.

If you feel a little unwell, you should see a doctor immediately. The goal is to put the epidemic behind us as soon as possible, so everyone should contribute to it.

There are few more topical university greetings these days than that of the Faculty of Health Sciences: Health to the World!
