Dr Beáta. Bencsik

Studying the chapters below provides the possibility of didactically examining the problem neck lesions can cause as occurrences of various diseases in the neck sector.

Introduction

In the neck region several diseases can cause differential diagnostic problems. Anatomically it is a very complex part of the body, which also makes diagnosing and differentiating diseases difficult. That is why sound anatomical grounding is indispensable for exact

understanding.

In what follows we shall discuss the most frequent diseases of the neck region, highlighting typical occurrences, their characteristic features, diagnostic, and therapeutic possibilities.

Key words: neck lesions, differential diagnosis.
