Abstract. We correct an error in “A state-dependent delay equation with chaotic solu- tions” [Electron. J. Qual. Theory Differ. Equ.2019, No. 22, 1–20].

1 Corrigendum

Due to an oversight on the part of the corresponding author, in point (v) of the statement of Theorem 1.1 in [1], the solutionv(the “chaotic solution” of the title) is asserted to be defined on all ofR. In the proof of the theorem, however, the solution v is only defined on [−1,∞). Accordingly, in point (v) of Theorem 1.1 the domain of vshould be[−1,), rather thanR.
