Aim of exercise: expanding vocabulary by selecting 5 new words to learn.

NB The idea is that if the learners select the words themselves, they are more likely to learn them. For a teacher to choose to apply this technique requires some degree of trust in the willingness to learn, autonomy and self-responsibility of their learners. You might also decide to choose the words to learn – which makes it more controllable and testable.
