SUMMARY STUDY OF THE PROBLEMS RESULTING FROM THE OVERPOPULATION OF CERVIDAE AND THE POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

The essay introduces the examinations in connection with the reasons and effects of the overpopulation of cervidae, which is the main problem of the hungarian game farming. The examination covers the development of the quality and population-dynamic characteristics of stocks, first in abroad, then in Hungary and County Somogy. A separate chapter discusses the economic analysis of game farming, the increase of possibilities for hunting that determines the receipts and the development of the damages done by games which influences the increase of expenses. The essay contains suggestions on how to develop the integrated stock-managing
and a big game stock that lives in harmony with its environment.
