RECTOR'S ORDER NR. 9/2020 - FALL BREAK
With regard to the Government Decree 283/2020 (17 June) introducing a state of epidemiological preparedness, in order to protect the life, health, personal, financial and legal safety of all participants of the higher education; to guarantee the stability and continuity of the education at the University of Miskolc and to prevent the further spread of the Covid -19 pandemic I issue the following order that shall be binding on all lecturers, researchers and students of the University of Miskolc.
From 26 October 2020 I issue a special fall break at the University of Miskolc. All teaching activities are suspended for the given period. The education is expected to start again on the 2ndof November, 2020.
During the fall break students cannot enter the buildings of the University of Miskolc, except for the dormitories. Only those who are entitled to stay in the dormitories shall be staying in the dormitory buildings with the strict observation of all rules and regulation s regarding the pandemic situation.
During the next week I am going to issue a new rector's order on the measures of the period following the 2nd of November, 2020.
The present rector's order shall not affect any other scope of activities of the lecturers and researchers. The University is not closed; we continue our work in the general working hours.
The present rector's order enters into force on the date of its issue.
