The Directorate for International Relations (DIR) and the International student and Alumni Network (ISAN) announce the Calls for President, Student-Faculty Coordinator, Hostel, and Sports coordinator positions concerning the next academic year to form ISAN BOARD.
Are you motivated, creative, and open-minded? Do you wish to leave your fingerprints at the ISAN_Miskolc Board and the University of Miskolc? Are you ready to devote time and effort to help us build an international student community to initiate global student traditions at the University of Miskolc? If yes, then this is your chance.

Who is eligible to apply?
All international students who have at least completed one semester and are enrolled as full time students at the UM
In case you choose to apply for the student faculty coordinator position please choose your respective faculty
Students applying for these positions must live in Miskolc

All mentioned positions are volunteer positions

What events does the ISAN board organize in cooperation with DIR?
These are the major events organized by the ISAN board.
International Welcome Day (Annually)
Freshmen’s Week (Annually)
International Dorm Dinner(Semi-Annually)
Annual International Day (Annually)
International Sports Day (In process Semi-Annually)
Social Media promotional Campaigns for prospective students (Continuous)
International State student representative workshops ISSRR-(Annually)
UM-Connects (Talk series with Industry, Academia, and Alumni-Monthly)
Farewell party (Annually)
What skills/tasks are expected from the President?
To be a pro-active organizer of the mentioned events
To engage the presence of all coordinators in all relevant meetings (Event meetings and monthly meetings)
To be responsible for managing all mentioned events from program planning to implementation
To actively participate in promotions and communications organized by DIR
To attend the Weekly meeting with the DIR coordinator (at least once a week)
To organize and implement monthly meetings with student faculty coordinators for analyze the regular tasks and events of faculty and unit coordinators
To be responsible for the maintenance of the E6 ISAN meeting room
To organize the academic year closing trips and other events for the Board with DIR coordinator
To manage the recruitment of the next ISAN Board

What skills/tasks are expected from the Student Faculty Coordinator?
To attend all meetings organized by the President
To actively take part in organizing and implementation of above the mentioned events in cooperation with DIR
To have at least one monthly meeting with the Academic faculty coordinator
To organize at least two faculty-level events preferably with the help of an Academic staff of your respective faculty. With Plans (implementation + financial) and prepare the report for DIR
To actively participate in promotions and communications organized by DIR
Work with your HOK counterpart
What skills/tasks are expected from the Student Sports Coordinator?
To engage the presence of all faculty coordinators in sports events
To conduct at least one sports match per month of (students preferred sports) at the campus and prepare a short social media report
To conduct the events as per the plan mentioned in your application proposal
To be in contact with Ms. Reka Molnar (Sports Coordinator)
Work with your HOK counterpart
What skills/tasks are expected from the Student Hostel Coordinator?
To organize, implement and report the International Dorm Dinner at least once in a semester
To update the students about changing rules or information from the dormitory management through the official Facebook page (Hostel Unit)
To implement the events as mentioned in your application proposal (Dorm Dinner, Xmas Party, etc.)
To be in contact with Mr. Atilla (Head of Dorm Management)
To live in E6 or UNI Hotel, MISKOLC
Work with your HOK counterpart
