This course instructs students about the major trends in national consumer protection laws and gives a detailed overview of the consumer protection regime of the European Union. The course deals with the normative laws of consumer protection and the relevant case law, and also outs some of the key questions is consumer protection in perspective from a jurisprudential and also economic point of view.
