Course description

Research and research methods 2 Aim of the course

Aim of the course:

The course provides guidelines for planning, conducting and evaluating research in developmental and clinical child psychology, and for the scientific communication of research findings. The student will be able to plan and conduct a research project on a selected topic in the field analyse data, evaluate and communicate research findings.

Learning outcomes, competences knowledge:

• Wide theoretical knowledge in the chosen topic and in research methods in developmental and clinical child psychology

• The student carries out the research in accordance with the ethical standards

• The student carries out the research in accordance with the scientific standards skills:

• The student will be able to formulate a research hypothesis based on the literature review

• The student will be able to prepare an appropriate research plan for testing the hypothesis
